Description :
The software has been created as general application for security cross platforms functioning all together with wireless and wired IP cameras, Television-cards, capture boards, power-line, and USB webcams. It has web interface with the similar form and functionality on the local and remote computers. Users view MPEG-4 coded video and have full control of the software via net that security pc can be operated with no monitor, keyboard, and mouse connected. Software`s modular structure significantly boosts reliability because all components work as independent applications. If one unit freezes, other modules keep on working. For instance if the `capture` part stops working, `watchdog` starts over it immediately that viewers don`t notice anything because they are viewing picture via a `playback` module. The software does `repeated` recording that the `hard drive full` situation never appears. The recording can be constant or it can be activated by movement, human face recognition, or by schedule. The software has pre-alarm and post-alarm recording. Playing back recorded video is pretty easy and performs on the surveillance pc as well as on remote computer using Web interface. The program performs synchronized video playback for event analysis from many webcams simultaneously. Also recorded data can be searched by date, time or by face detected. All recorded information can be encrypted and password protected.
