SAT Words College: This vocabulary software covers high-frequency SAT vocabulary words with engaging backgrounds and constant interactive learning situations. Studying these words improves performance on any verbal standardized test, including the ACT and GRE. Full scoring and tracking of all user responses is included. Engaging direct vocabulary instruction of words taught in context. The SAT Words College teaches high-frequency SAT-type words (also found on the ACT and GRE). This program is specifically structured in six units of six sections to allow for easy integration into the classroom or lab setting. It teaches in 10-word blocks, providing immediate feedback, constant interaction, and printable score reports. This price allows for full classroom or lab use by one instructor. Contains complete data tracking and scores reporting. Features an overall pretest and posttest to demonstrate comprehensive learning. Pronounces the words to the student upon the click of a word. Allows students to test out of the words they already know so no time is wasted. Displays a screen saver of random words and definitions that appear with vocal pronunciations when idle. Contains engaging interaction and visuals with easy and intuitive navigation. Allows the teacher to change data paths, thus allowing the students' data to be saved on a server, a floppy disk, or anywhere else the teacher chooses. Builds on and revisits prior words (e.g., Unit V assumes that words from Units I-IV have already been learned). Installs to your computer and runs without a CD-Rom disk.
